Ron brings multi-dimensional experience to the Board, which will help facilitate the overview and management of the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center.  For the last 20 years, he has worked in the commercial banking field, with a focus on the commercial and industrial aspects of the regional and local economy, commercial real estate and SBA lending.

Additionally, his experience in commercial and residential lending and cash management has helped businesses and organizations in managing their cash flow more efficiently, as well as providing products and services to help them reduce fraud and excess costs and protect their assets.

As director of business development for an online communications company, Ron developed online sales and marketing platforms for the organization’s premier clients, including those from Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League and other top tier brands handled by the company.  

His experience in accounting and financial management, as well as sales and marketing, will assist the Board in various capacities as the Conference Center becomes operational in mid-2024.

Ron is a senior officer of M&T Bank. He has an MBA in finance and marketing from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. He is also a graduate of Ithaca High School.
